RESPONSIBILITIES AND DETAILS:
- Coach and mentor field technicians during site visits to ensure safety and effective execution of service procedures
- Develop and deliver technical training programs across EST Products and services both in person and virtually.
- Advanced knowledge, skills and troubleshooting abilities for mechanical, electrical, plumbing and electronic systems.
- Able and willing to travel frequently (overnight), including nationwide and occasional international travel - 40%.
- Excellent driving record and willing to submit to a thorough background check that complies with the DOD and our other government partners.
- Possess strong computer skills including proven experience with all Microsoft office applications; training and presentation software; graphics & photo imaging software; video conferencing; web-based video training. And great benefits
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in a technical or industrial service role (e.g., field service technician, field training, maintenance supervisor) required.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring others—either in a classroom or one-on-one field environment
- Strong customer orientation – dependable, hands-on, hardworking, honest and able to work effectively under pressure.
- Comfortable working in field environments and with a wide range of industrial equipment and tools.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication and listening skills.
- Ability to complete complex work that requires continuous, concentrated mental and visual effort to plan and problem solve, travel by way of commercial aircraft, routinely lift 50 pounds, occasionally up to 100 pounds, work outside under various environmental conditions, some exposure to hazardous materials and equipment, maneuver around moving objects, vehicles and machinery and ability to utilize a ladder with 300 pounds weight limit. The job is considered medium-to-heavy in nature and involves walking, maneuvering around moving objects/machinery, standing, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, balancing, lifting, digging, pushing or raising, objects and also involves exerting between 20 and 50 pounds of force on a recurring basis and 50 to 100 pounds of force on an occasional basis. Ability to work outside under various environmental conditions, may include some exposure to hazardous materials and equipment. Ability to climb ladders with 300 lb. weight limit.
